The Prodigal Son. This is a tune mainly from the manuscript of Moses Heap (1824-1913), collated with two other manuscripts, all from the Larks Of Dean collection, Rossendale, Lancashire. Transcribed by Jean Seymour, October 1991 © . The piece is still performed as part of the Christmas pub singing in villages around Sheffield.
